Juche Buddhism is living in a utilitarian model of lifestyle within a perpetual meditative bliss of the mind which fears nothing, lives simply, acts with careful thought, and is aware of a higher purpose to being.
Juche-Buddhism Friendship Society is focused on the work of showing the people of north California the harmony utilized in the Juche idea as it can be applied to the multi-culture of this realm.
Along with seeking harmony at home, we strive to make it certain across the world, and we endeavor to establish a sister-city along the 38th parallel latitude with other Juche practicing people.
The consciousness of the people is liberated to achieve anything it needs, but always in harmony with the higher order.
To defend the people against disorder, Juche-Buddhism practices to uphold the ideals of the people themselves, composed of The Laborers. The hammer of the Worker is united with the pen of the Scholar and the implement of the Farmer.

Origin of Juche-Buddhism Friendship Society
The originators of the Juche-Buddhism Friendship Society are people without wealth or property who live in north California. The realm under which we live suffers from the disastrous policies of people who seek to acquire great wealth and property for themselves without idealism of harmony with the people and the planet.
We rejected the policies of these people, which tricks our brethren to betray their brothers & sisters in order to satisfy crude desires, and gave our lives to the study of true ways of being, in harmony with our Earth and communities.
If the Great Juche Idea's purity can be related to the far older & superstitious Buddha thought, it is because of the purity of humble acts shown by the ancient practitioners of Buddha thought when compared to the acts of practitioners of other superstitious ideas.
We are honest by our journey to live in purity, against the thought of "Dominionism", an idea that calls for ALL NATIONS to submit to Capitalism, as matter-of-fact that "Jesus blesses his flock with wealth so that they may rule the earth in His name and guidance", which holds adherence of many millions of our neighbors in north California, guiding them to support endless wars against the People of the World, and uphold exploitation and artificial poverty.
The following is a statement by Rev. Bahn-Suk Lee M.Div describing the Juche idea according to "Dominionism" ideology, in relation to a book for Christians [archive.today/LPpFu]:
"When I first met Tom Belke at Regent University, I was surprised at his interest in studying North Korea's Juche ideology. I thought it was rather odd. Now I realize that God revealed to him that the Juche philosophy was the real religion of North Korea. The Juche mentality is Satan's fetter, blinding people's minds. Juche must be broken, so that the people can be truly free. Rebellion separates man from the true God. Self-Dependence, Juche-ism, is the epitome of rebellion. God created us in His image to be fully dependent on Him. Juche holds the direct opposite. Through Tom's efforts, we learn more about this philosophy and the strategies that the devil has used to gain rights over the North Korean people."
We reject this regime of terrible & false ideas which threatens to erase all culture and ideas, and restructure human interaction under guidance by capitalists.
Our thought is but a reflection of the simple standards and morals of the peoples along the 38 parallel in north California, in a region known as the San Pablo Bay whose community councils are currently seeking ideas and planning utilitarian systems to guide them through a revolutionary epoch, including the creation of "sustainable farming", "localized energy production", "collective systems of management" and other projects for self-sufficiency.
While life in our community is cruel and deadly [our city of origin is miss-labeled "The Valley of Bones"], we chose to suffer the path our life gave us as conscious community citizens while living plainly.
After living 10 years as practitioners of the "Zen of Nihilism" & "Tao of Anarchy", there appeared a complete and perfect thought in our minds about the completeness of the Juche-Buddhist idea. At the time we had yet to learn about the Protector of Juche Kim Il-Sung's statements about Buddhist thought in relation to the Juche Idea. The ideas of self sufficiency and the practices of Buddha thought are common in our homeland, and after satisfying our curiosity about the nature of the Great Juche Idea, we are impressed by how universal the Juche Idea is when compared the values of the people among whom we live.

Myohyang. The Buddhist temple was pretty and well maintained. Officially, freedom of religion exists in the DPRK. Here we were, being taken to a Buddhist temple to meet a monk, complete with a Kim Il Sung pin. He said that Kim Il Sung believed that Juche and Buddhism are beliefs that compliment each other and sort of, gave the religion his blessing, so to speak.

Juche Understood
Today I walked in the January bluster along the latitude 38 and pondered the Juche Idea...
I, by no means, have read all the extensive works of the Dear Philosopher Kim Il Sung, or all the elaborations on the Juche Idea given to us by the Great Protector Kim Jong Il, yet today I was given a clear vision of the Juche Idea. Beautiful in its simplicity, the Juche idea can be understood in the heart of a peasant as well as in the mind of the educated man. I give you my vision in the hopes it begins discussions on the application of the Juche ideals across latitude 38 as well as the world.
Resistance to capitalist dictatorship -
The people of the country need to be strong, and that is where the People of North Korea have my utmost respect, and their government must be incorruptible like the great thought of Kim Il Sung, the originator of the Juche Idea. I see that the government's main role in the practical application of Juche Idea is as a fast hot fire burning away the capitalist and corporate scum, to purge and punish accordingly.
Distribution of housing and resources -
In this trying time, the people must be strong and resist the urge to slip backward blindly into the maw of corporate culture. We begin now with the logistic placing of specialized labor, to make sure each self supporting community has basic manufactured goods (like a blacksmith, glass blowers, horticulturists, teachers, etc). Along with the specialized labor goes the tools of said trades. Next added would be the apprentice labor, families and children. The mentally and physically disabled would be evenly distributed among these communities, bringing with them "job" creation and the disabled persons could count on more personalized care.
Society of the Community -
When I italicize "job" creation it is because, when properly practiced, Juche based "do it yourself" communities can exist without a paper money system. Hence the word 'job' is ill fitting, task may be better. The small communities ideally engage in a trade of goods and services. In the small communities, everyone's daily task dove tails into the others, thus causing no overflow of one type of product and certainly not the corporate competition between vendors.
Unity of the Communities -
The communities are united into a state government, which is limited to a basic protective role, to keep us safe from the imperialist armies and the constant fascist threats, to distribute aid in case of famine or earthquake, subsidize basic industries such as electronics and computers, as well as to organize national events to unite our communities and show solidarity amongst our regions.

Buddhism in north California
The study of Buddha thought continues to inspire perceptions of social liberation.
The practice of the study of Buddha thought was brought to North California during the 1800s by workers from the homelands of China and Japan who sought employment and residence in the Bay Area of North California, but as a cultural influence Buddha thought remained only with these workers and the external colonies of their culture within California they gave rise to, including surviving the disruption to social order created during the 1940s with the incarceration of all California residents of Japan descent, and the caste system employed against all non-Whites throughout the 20th century until the 1960s.
It happened during the 1960s that thousands of revolutionaries who ascribed to Marxism began to study the leading explanations of Buddha thought, through books published at public universities. This sudden practice on part of White American revolutionaries to study "far eastern" philosophies was due to their interest in the revolutionary thought of Kim Il-sung and other leading lights during the global campaign of liberation during the 1960s and 1970s.
Although there occured much social disruption directed against the revolutionary people, the interest in Buddha thought remained in practice and is able to spread an influence of thought into many societies across California.
Examples of this are provided on this page, not as an endorsement of the schools, individuals or practices of the various sets of Buddha thought scholars and their practices. These examples are provided to instruct you about the pervasive visibility and influence of Buddha thought in California, especially in our San Pablo bay area.

"Major Buddha relic collection smiles on LA temple"
2013-10-17 from the "Associated Press" [sfgate.com/news/article/Major-Buddha-relic-collection-smiles-on-LA-temple-4905151.php]:
Rosemead, Los Angeles County -- Although he'd been a practicing Buddhist for 20 years, until 10 months ago Dharma Master YongHua hadn't even seen so much as one of the sacred relics known as shariras that are so important to his faith.
So it came as quite a surprise to the modest, soft-spoken monk when he learned he was becoming the caretaker of more than 10,000 of them.
YongHua's modest Lu Mountain Temple became a repository for the thousands of colorful crystals, two teeth and a single hair that are believed to have come from the body of the Buddha himself. A congregant offered up the collection that he'd painstakingly gathered for years.
The relics are said to be capable of producing miracles for people who go near them. And although Buddhists, like members of other religious groups, say that has to be taken on faith, even the skeptical are starting to believe miracles are happening since the shariras arrived.
"In the beginning, I didn't really know what to think," said Vickie Sprout, who meditates at the temple.
Following YongHua's advice to keep an open mind, she and others noticed, they said, after six months of meditation in the presence of the shariras, that their efforts were leading to a more relaxed, blissful state.
Looking back, YongHua said, it was no small miracle that the relics even made it to Lu Mountain Temple.
Located on the corner of a hillside residential street, the temple is easily mistaken by average passersby for what it once was: a modest, 1950s-era, cookie-cutter tract home in an aging bedroom community east of Los Angeles. A glance down the hill offers a smog-shrouded view of hundreds of other homes, all looking the same.
The handful of monks who live there like it that way. They rise at 3:30 a.m. each day and, inside the ornate temple that outsiders never see, they spend much of their days in quiet meditation.
"When we're cultivating Buddhist teachings we're kind of hidden," said Master Xian-Jie. "We don't want a lot of people around."
Since the shariras' arrival, there have been quite a few people around.
Hundreds from around the country arrived earlier this year when the monks put the relics on display.
They crowded up to the altar, around a statute of the Buddha and elsewhere for an up-close view of thousands of colorful crystals, some believed to have come from the heart and other body parts of the Buddha himself when he was cremated nearly 3,000 years ago.
Other crystals are believed to have come from his family members and disciples, said YongHua, as the bespectacled, brown-robed monk showed them off again to visitors last month.
"To us, shariras are very important because if we see them we think we see the Buddha himself, even though the Buddha passed away a very long time ago," said Thu Nguyen, a 70-year-old retired day care worker who traveled from San Jose with a dozen fellow Buddhists to see them.
The last time she was in the presence of shariras, she said, was more than 10 years ago at a temple in the Chinese city of Shanghai.
Although such relics can be found at other Buddhist temples around the country, such a large collection is unusual, said Sonya Lee, a University of Southern California professor and expert on Buddhist art and culture.

Sister City program
Juche-Buddhist Friendship Society is endeavoring to connect the people of latitude 38 in a harmonious link of many cultures.
Those who uphold the ideals of Juche-Buddhist friendship in north California practice meditative solidarity with the community of Haeju, whose people were threatened with the chaos of war during 2010.
Haeju is a provincial capital of Hwanghae-Namdo province in Korea and has been blessed to be under the realm of the Great Leader whose lasting legacy is the Juche idea whose foundation is the People of Korea themselves.
Haeju has kept in many manners it's ancient morality system based on Buddha philosophy which the Korean people adopted long long time ago as a reflection of their morals and natural character, which today is exemplified by the Juche idea which, similar to the ancient system adopted by the Korea People, enables them to achieve a greater consciousness of preserving their cultural spirit.
